I have seen the first bonsai when I was about 5-6 years old. After too much pleading I got my first one. That was the beggining of the end. Obviously that bonsái died. But to look that empty pot encourage me to find something to fit inside. In spite of growing better than the first one, it finally died too. Then I started to read books and magazines. I bought and dig new trees up. I mistreated a lot of them because of ignorance. But that was the reason to want to learn more.
After a while, I decided to start my bonsai training. I did some courses with David Benavente. Then I quit a bit to focus in my universitary studies. After finnishing and being unemployed, I decided to restart my bonsái training. So I went to Taishoen. I have been there 3 months as a student. Then I realized that I learned a lot on that time, but it was not enought. So after a meeting with the owners of the garden, they accepted me as an apprentice. First guided by Nobuichi Urushibata. And finally by his son, Taiga Urushibata.
Now I am working hard everyday to make my projects real. I whish to get the life doing what I most like. And I am trying to keep learning so I could keep teaching.
